"The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read."
I'm so excited to have been chosen as one of the features this week!!! A huge thank you to Rachel & Alison :D
Interview Questions:
When did you start blogging?
I only started blogging in April this year, so I'm still a bit of a newbie :) But so far I'm loving it!
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
Most of my friends don't read & don't get why I love books so much, so I had nobody to gush about my latest reads to. By blogging I get to talk to so many great people & authors who share that crazy passion!
What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Mostly YA & NA fantasy, paranormal & of course romance! I've been on a bit of a NA romance binge lately :)
What is your favorite book(s)?
I can't choice just one soo...
The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, Anne Of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, Persuasion By Jane Austen, Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout & Embrace by Jessica Shirvington!
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
Well my favourite author Jessica Shirvington loved a review I wrote for one of her books, I then got an arc copy of her new book to review. I absolutely love this woman & the fact that she read my review felt kinda awesome *grins*
Question:
Q: Today is the US' Independence Day. Share your favourite book with a war in it, or an overthrow of the government?
How could I not choose Harry Potter! This is the ultimate epic war between good & evil! Not only is this my favourite war book, it's also my favourite series and always will be!
After Janaiah's family are executed & the royal family overthrown she & a lone knight sent to protect her take back control of her kingdom.
I really enjoyed the fantasy element to this one too, plus a really sweet romance!
When Australia is invading & taken over by an enemy, it is up to a group of teenagers to save the country from destruction.
This book was really popular is Australia & was made into a movie a couple of years ago
Thank you so much for stopping by - you can follow me by Bloglovin (preferred) or Twitter

DeleteThe war in Harry Potter really was a great one. There was a lot of build-up, a ton of allies, a truly bad threat and an actual war at the end with some terrifying fighting and characters lost. Excellent choice! Congrats on being featured :D Old follower - Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jaclyn :) It was definitely an epic war that just kept building over the entire series to the major fight scene at the end. It was so sad when some of the characters where lost - it just made it so much more emotional!

ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteI'm participating in the Feature & Follow today:
http://thepookapicks.wordpress.com/2013/07/05/feature-follow-friday-2/
I'd love to follow your blog, but it doesn't seem like any of the options presented work for me -- unless I'm missing something. I have Wordpress, haven't created a Bloglovin' account yet (I'm considering it but haven't fully decided), and have been following people who don't use Wordpress via e-mail. Is there a way for me to follow you by email?
Thanks a bunch! & nice interview :)
Hi thanks for stopping by - I didn't realise I don't have the follow by email option up - I've probably deleted it by mistake when rearranging my side bar haha!
DeleteHarry Potter is always fun! Now following :)
ReplyDeleteHere is my FF.
Thanks Jay
DeleteCongrats on the feature!! I'd be upset if you hadn't mentioned HP!
ReplyDeleteHaven't read Queen in Exile nor Tomorrow, I've certainly heard a lot about the latter though. Queen in Exile sure sounds pretty intriguing, I just might check it out.
Do drop by my FF. Old follower!
Haha totally had to pick HP didn't I!! Queen In Exile was surprising deep, I thought it might be light & fluffy - but it was really good :)
DeleteCongrats on the feature!
ReplyDeleteAw, shucks... I didn't even think about war in terms of good vs evil! :( Great picks!
My FF
Brandy @ A Little of the Book Life
New Follower via Bloglovin & Google +
Haha, I had to go with a good vs evil war because I couldn't think of any realistic war stories that I'd read. I usually can't handle the real wars because they often have sad endings, and I'm exclusively a HEA kinda girl :D
Deletewe picked harry potter too! amazing series--it totally took over my life as i waited for all the books to come out, which is basically from high school til college.
ReplyDeletehere's our #ff.
