I've just finished reading:
For Darkness Shows The Stars
by Diana Peterfreund
Distopian Romance (Inspired by Persuasion)
Verdict: I really enjoyed this one. A little slow to start but once it got going I couldn't put it down!
A Witch In Winter
by Ruth Warburton
Fantasy
Verdict: A cute witchy story, which would probably appeal to the younger YA audience.
Before You Go
by Clare James
NA Contemporary Romance
Verdict: It was a really good story, but very short. If a few scenes were developed a little further this one could be wonderful.
This week I'm planning on reading:
A Song For Julia
by Charles Sheehan-Miles
NA Romance
NA Romance
(I had this one on my last week, but didn't get a chance to finish it yet :))
Animal Instincts
by Nell Dixon
Contemporary Romance
Have you read any of these yet? What are you going to be reading this week?

These are all new to me...curious about Animal Instincts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog, and enjoy your week.
Yes, I have to admit I don't read that many contemporary romances, but this one definitely intrigued me.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I liked A Witch In Winter but I still haven't read the sequels! I have For Darkness Shows The Stars on my mountainous 'to read soon' pile, I don't know why I haven't read it yet. Happy reading this week :)
ReplyDeleteYeah I know what you mean, I have soooo many books in my TBR pile that I just don't seem to get around to.
DeleteThanks for stopping by :)
For Darkness Shows the Stars has been on my TBR mountain for a while. I haven't read anything by the author and think I actually have a couple of her books there. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYeah it was on my TBR list for a while too! And since I enjoyed it I might have to check out her other books - I think she wrote a series about killer unicorns, which sounds interesting :) Thanks for swinging by!
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these but they have pretty covers.
ReplyDelete<a href="http://mamaknowsbooks.blogspot.com/2013/04/monday-update_29.html> My Monday Update!<a>
Yeah I have to admit that I am very guilty of judging books by there covers!
DeleteHave a lovely week!
Thanks for the visit. I love the cover of Animal Instinct. A song for Julia sounds pretty intense. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteA Song For Julia is quite heavy, but it's beautifully written so it's not depressing - I exclusively read HEA :)
DeleteHave a lovely week!
Wow! For Darkness Shows the Stars and A Witch in Winter both sound great! I'll be adding those to my tbr list for sure.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
You definitely should check them out - especially For Darkness Shows The Stars (but I'm bias cause I love Persuasion!)
DeleteThanks for popping by!
I love the cover for Animal Instincts! And aww an animal rescue? I love that!
ReplyDeleteThe animal rescue part is what made me pick this one up in the first place...I just couldn't resist that cover either!
DeleteHave a great week!
I hope you are enjoying this weeks reads!
