Question: 
Happy Mother's Day! Who id your favourite mum from fiction?

This is interesting because I mostly read YA/NA books which usually consist of neglectful mothers :(






Of course Mrs Weasley is probably one of the most loveable literary mother's. 






There is also Marmee from Little Women by Louisa M. Alcott






And I have to give honourable mention to Miss Honey from Matilda by Roald Dahl!

    Miss Honey ofcourse! I loved that woman. Matilda's mom on the other hand was downright filth.
    And looks like most of us have Molly Weasley featuring today.

      I always wished I could have had a teacher like Miss Honey, she was so lovely. And your right Matilda's real mum was filth, and that's putting it nicely :)

    I wracked my brain for a kid's book with a mom in it that I adored and out of pure exhaustion I couldn't come up with any. Awesome picks!       I know what you mean, it was really hard to come up with them - I had to go through all my books on Goodreads! Now I see everyone else's there are some really obvious ones I just didn't think of!

    Love your choices! Mrs Weasley is obviously everywhere this week, but Marmee is SUCH a great pick! I love her! Also Ms Honey - I only ever saw the Matilda movie, but in that, she was awesome :)

    I absolutely love your answer. Mrs Weasley is a popular answer, but The Little Women's Marmee is definitely deserving of a spot in Favourite Mothers :D
