BLURB:
One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what’s happened in Vegas staying there.

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.

Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

A Fun And Sassy Romance Full Of Heart

REVIEW:
The story:
Sherry, the spunky lady full of life, doesn't have the best track record in the romance department. Tired of being burnt by men, she decides that what she needs is a Mr Boring; a man who might be boring, but won't break her heart. But before she settles for Mr Boring, she wants one last crazy weekend in Las Vegas, where she's helping cater an event for one of the hottest bands around, Blue. With no interest in Blue's musical talents Sherry has no plans on picking up any arrogant band members, and has her sights set on a sexy roadie she meets instead.

After a crazy night out with him, she wakes up with one hell of a hang over…and a wedding ring! Realising she's just married her one night stand, she soon finds out that her new husband is none other than Tyler Blue - famous lead singer of the band. With paparazzi asking them questions, they decide it's best for both their reputations to stay married and pretend their relationship is legit. The plan seems like a good idea at the time, but how long until this pretend romance starts to feel all too real?

The characters:
Sherry is such a fun loving carefree character. She's not afraid to be herself and be a little crazy. But she's also been hurt a lot and that has taken it's toll on her. She desperately want's to find someone who will love and cherish her and most importantly respect her.

And that is exactly what Tyler Blue does. He respects her and the boundaries she sets on their fake relationship, never pushing or pressuring her for something she's not ready for. He is a true family guy, who is kind and considerate and I just have so much love her him. Oh, and he can sing and play guitar like nobody's business *swoon*

The romance:
The romance between Sherry & Tyler may not be conventional, but that didn't make it any less real. Often with accidental marriages & quick romances, the connection between the characters feels forced. But Sherry & Tyler spend plenty on time just getting to know on another and as their friendship grows, so does their attraction and eventually a romantic connection.

The writing:
I'm a huge fan of Rachel Harris…seriously HUGE! I've loved both her YA & adult titles and will auto buy any future books too. Her characters are always vibrant and the dialogue can make me laugh, cry and swoon - sometimes all at once!

FINAL WORD:
Accidentally Married On Purpose is fun and sassy romance full of heart! If you love sweet HEA romance, then you won't want to miss this one!

CONTENT:
Sexuality: mild-medium / discussions of sex & one-nighters, no sex scenes
Violence: none

She's a tomboy. He's the boy next door…

Charlie Reynolds can outrun, outscore, and outwit every boy she knows. But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn't know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at a chichi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world. To cope with the stress of her new reality, Charlie takes to spending nights chatting with her neighbor Braden through the fence between their yards. As she grows to depend on their nightly Fence Chats, she realizes she's got a bigger problem than speeding tickets-she's falling for Braden. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

Fun, original, and endearing, On the Fence is a romantic comedy about finding yourself and finding love where you least expect.

On The Fence was the perfect mix of humour & heart and is one of the most heartwarming YA contemporaries of the year!

GOODREADS UPDATES:

REVIEW:

The story:
One The Fence is such a sweet story, it left me with a warm fuzzy feeling and a grin n my face!

Growing up without a mother in house with her father and three brothers, Charlie has had some strong male influences in her life. She loves sport, never wears makeup and loves to match it with the boys in any challenge. But after getting a job in a local clothing store and modelling some makeup for a new 'girly' friend, she starts to discover a new side to herself she never knew she had. Charlie's also hiding the fact that she's having nightmares about her mother dying in car crash.

If her nightmares & identity crisis wasn't enough, Charlie's also starting to look her best friend Brandon differently. And after several late night conversations over their back fence, her feelings for Brandon grow and confuse her even more. The question is does he feel the same way and is it Old Charlie or the new 'Girly' Charlie that he likes?

The characters:
The romance between Brandon & Charlie is simply adorable. You can really see how much he cares about Charlie - the real Charlie. But what I loved the most about him, was that he loves to challenge her in everything they do. He respects her and her abilities, never doubting her strength - physically or emotionally. They are equals in the relationship and love each other for who they are.

What was so brilliant about West's writing is that she didn't just focus on the romance between Charlie & Brandon, but also on Charlie's relationship with her father & brothers, and most importantly Charlie's self discovery. This book was so well rounded it was just beautiful.

BLURB:
The sequel to the international hit, The Only Exception.

A boy burdened with a family legacy.
A girl haunted by a shattered past.
Both searching for answers to a future threatened by the unknown.

Three years ago, conservative Trey Chapman and liberal Monica Remy met their match in one another - and made the only exception that would change their lives forever.
Now, Trey's father is running for president, forcing Trey and Monica to put aside their personal beliefs to be the model of perfection.

But fate has other ideas, casting the family in scandal.

Some seek to use that disgrace to further their family legacy, while others refuse to let go of the past. Trey and Monica soon find themselves lost among questions that challenge their true feelings. Will they be able to rediscover that the only answer lies with one another, or will they lose each other forever?

EXCERPT:
“Did anyone ever tell you that you’re very persistent?” she said, taking the brush and can.

“Every single day of my life and you love it.” I picked up the other can and brush.

She smiled, shaking her head. “Yeah, yeah. You’re lucky I put up with you.” She turned toward the wall. “You want me to just start painting?”

“Yes. Get a big enough square so we can see if we like that color for the wall. At least one foot by one foot.”

“That’s very precise measurements,” she said, looking at me out of the corner of my eye.

“Always best to be precise, Miss Remy.” I smiled, waiting for her to start painting to I could work on my own.

“Very true, Mr. Chapman.” She finally took her eyes off me and began stroking the brush against the wall.

I wasn’t sure how long it would take her to paint so I had to work fast. I didn’t even care if I spilled on my five-hundred dollar suit coat as long as I got the job done. By the time I was finished I turned fully toward Monica. My nerves were at an all time high and my heart was beating so fast I couldn’t even count the beats as I waited for her to look at me.

Usually she did everything she could to try and beat me. I loved her competitiveness and the way she challenged me. But not today. Now I just wanted her to finish her painting and finally turn toward me. But she wasn’t even looking in my direction. She was lost in thought, meticulously painting the tiny red square on the wall.

I wasn’t one to get flustered but I let out an audible groan. That was when she widened her eyes and finally turned toward me. “What the hell is your problem, Trey?” She dropped the paint brush in her can, red paint splattering on her hands.

I opened my mouth to answer but she cut me off before I could speak. “You rushed me through dinner so we could see your new apartment, an apartment that I’m not even going to really be living in because I can’t get a real job. Then as soon as we get here you’re rushing me to get in the bedroom so you can paint a freaking wall when we’re both dressed up for the convention. I’ve put up with a lot from you and I know you’re nervous about tonight, but you have to freaking relax or you’re going to drive me crazy!”

I cleared my throat. “Okay.” I nodded. “I understand I’ve been on edge tonight, but there’s a perfectly good reason and we can discuss it after I see which paint color is better for the wall.” I stepped back, smiling with my hands in my pocket.

She raised an eyebrow, turning away from the wall and putting her hands on her hips. “What kind of stunt are you trying to pull right now? Are you hiding something? Is this where you  break up with me?”

I usually loved her stubbornness but now Monica was getting to be a little bit too much. I was already on edge and had it all planned out, but nothing was going quite right. Love was never perfect that way, but once I found Monica I learned that things didn’t have to be perfect to work out.

Slowly I extended one hand and kept the other in my pocket. “Just come stand here with me and look at the wall and stop being so obstinate.”

She crossed her arms over her chest. “What if I said no?”

I took a few steps toward her until we were toe-to-toe. I didn’t say anything. Instead I just smiled and put my hands on her waist, lifting her in the air. She squealed as I walked backwards a few steps before setting her down a couple feet away.

“You’re very persistent, Mr. Chapman.”

I took her hands in mine. “I am when I know what I want and I’ve known that I’ve wanted you since the first time I saw you. The first time you opened your mouth and spoke to me. I knew there wasn’t going to be anyone else but you.” Slowly I turned her toward the wall and she gasped, removing her hands from mine and covering her mouth as soon as she read the words I painted on the wall: Will you marry me?

I pulled the velvet box out of my pocket and stood in front of her before I got down on one knee and opened the box, holding it open for her. The woman at Tiffany’s told me the diamond cut was called the Lucida after the brightest star in a constellation. She didn’t even need to tell me all of that before I was sold on the square diamond with it’s diamond side stones and  opened curved diamond band. There something incredibly unique about it. Something that caught my eye. Just like Monica did.

I swallowed hard, trying to focus on my words instead of the tears that welled up in her eyes. These weren’t tears of sorrow like the night she poured her soul to me after Alpha Mu’s barn dance. These were tears of joy. “Monica Remy, It’s been three years since you first walked into my life. Three of the best years I’ve ever had. We’ve laughed together. Cried together. Everything. Together. I can’t imagine my life without you. I picked out this apartment especially so I could share it with you and our future collectively. And I hope that you’ll do me the honor of marrying me.”

I held my breath waiting for her response, counting down each second to my heart beat. Finally she nodded slowly before removing her hands from her mouth. “Yes,” she whispered. “Yes. Yes. Yes. A million times yes!” she said louder.

I couldn’t hold the grin that was threatening to split my face. I put the ring on her finger, slowly standing up before wrapping her arms around her waist. “You’ve made me the happiest man in the world tonight, Monica.”

After her acceptance into college results in a heated family argument, the Brazilian girl leaves everything behind to find her own American dream.

College life away from home is perfect until the people she believes to be her friends turn on her. With lies and rumors threatening to suffocate her, Bia turns to her only freedom. Riding.

His thick skin and easy grin don’t hide what Bia already knows—this misunderstood and lonely cowboy fights his own demons. Brushing horses’ coats and mucking out stalls shouldn’t be this sexy, and it isn’t long before he becomes a part of her distraction.

Vibrant & Sexy - Can't Wait For More In This Series!

REVIEW:
The story:
Bia is going through a real time of self discovery, trying to find some independence away from her parents and out of the shadow of her successful Polo playing brothers. Moving away to go to college, she has plans of becoming a vet, making new friends, and having a fantastic adventure. But it doesn't all go according to plan. She catches the eye of one very persistent frat guy, Jonah, along with the wrath of his ex girlfriend Audrey. In hopes of winning him back Audrey makes Bia's life hell, spreading rumours and lies, purely because of her Brazilian background. Bia struggles with the unwanted attention and questions everything she says or does, worried how everyone will perceive her usually fun and carefree personality.

Her only escape is on the range with the horses, where she actually feels like her old self again. But even there she can't completely escape realty with horse trainer,  Garrett making her feel so confused about everything. Bia has to ask herself what being independent and finding herself truly means, and if Garrett fits into her new life?

The characters:
Bia, the happy, outgoing Brazilian girl with a passion for horses. She's such a vibrant character when we first met her in Breaking the Reins, but we get to see another side to her now. She's vulnerable and afraid to truly be herself for fear of being labeled a 'slut'. Bia does a lot of soul searching in this book, trying to discover who she is away from her family, while not letting the ignorant rumours affect how she acts. It was great to see her grow into a person she was comfortable being.

Garrett is quite a mystery early on, and we only leaner little snippets of information about his past. He's very closed off and doesn't open up easily to anyone. He has he's reasons and it takes a while for him to open up, but when he did it was clear why he acted the way he did.

There are quite a few supporting characters, Creepy Jonah, Queen Bitch Audrey and her loyal followers, Garrett's father, Wise Tom the Stable Manger and Bia's brother & his girlfriend - Leo & Hannah make a few appearances too. And while Audrey and her sorority friends where a little cliched, it didn't effect my enjoyment of the story.

The romance:
With very few people in his life who actually love and care about Garrett, he doesn't share he's secrets easily, but when spending time with Bia he starts to find happiness that he never thought possible. With their shared love of horses, they connect and start to fall for each other - these two where really good for one another.

The writing:
This is my third book by Juliana and I just love her writing. She has a fluid and very natural writing style that makes her stories flow very smoothly. They are also filled with emotion and passionate characters.

FINAL WORD:
After reading Breaking The Reins,I  immediately started begging for a companion novel because I loved it that much! And I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed! I will now pester Juliana for Hilary's book, because I just know there is an awesome story to be told there!!!

EXCERPT:
“Mike you and I both know that that isn’t going to happen so why don’t you just tell me what fur ball they’re going to saddle me with.” I said as I collected my stack of papers and organized them into a semi-neat pile.
Mike noisily cleared his voice, “Uh hey Ari…”
“God I hope that whoever it is that he isn’t a complete moron. If I’m going to be stuck with a pack partner, the least they can do is send me someone competent.” Mike noisily cleared his throat again.
“What?” I asked, looking up from my desk.
I was greeted by a tall man standing just inside the office, casually leaning against the doorframe. He had tousled brown hair and steely grey colored eyes. High cheekbones and a strong jaw formed his masculine face and a hint of stubble dusted his jaw line, not enough to appear unkempt but just enough to give a roguish impression. Dressed in black jeans, a black T, and a black leather jacket, he oozed tall, dark and handsome with deadly intent.
“That would be this fur ball right here.” He said, an arrogant grin lifting the corner of his mouth. I let my head fall to the surface of my desk, then for good measure I gently knocked my forehead on its smooth surface, one, two, three times. Dammit I couldn’t believe I had just called him a freaking fur ball! I could feel my cheeks warm in embarrassment and did my best to hide it.
“You all done with the show?” He asked as I lifted my head from the desk. I glared at him for good measure and then allowed my head to connect with the desk’s surface once more before sitting up. rubbing the slight sting away “Yea, I’m done.” I told him. Well, at least this wouldn’t be as bad as I had thought. James was the only shifter that I actually personally knew and was one of the few individuals I considered a friend. I met James about six months ago at a shifter bar downtown, though at the time I didn’t actually know that it was a shifter bar.
A group of coyotes had decided I was easy prey and were giving me a pretty hard time. James had intervened before things got out of hand which basically meant that he stopped me from wiping the floor with their coyote asses and burning the entire building to ash.  It was probably a good thing that he had stepped in but I remember being furious with him at the time, I had really wanted to give those bastards a piece of my mind and show them that I wasn’t just some naive little girl. That was back when I was still cocky over my abilities. Things had changed since then and the thought was sobering. Now being a pyrokinetic was something I had to hide and honestly, that just plain sucked.
“So, you’re my partner?”
James nodded, his face going serious, “Yea I’m you’re partner, ready to do something reckless?”
I smiled at that, James knew me all to well.
“Absolutely.”
Grabbing my messenger bag I followed James out of the office, aware of Mike’s unapproving gaze on my every step.

Savannah & Gavin couldn't be more different. Sav is softly spoken, artistic and has a hidden inner strength she rarely shows. Gavin on the other hand, is raw and gritty and oh so wickedly dirty. But when he hires her to clean his new house, their worlds collide in hot and sexy fireball!

But despite knowing that he's attracted to Savannah he's not sure he's good enough for her. Can Gavin overcome he's past and open himself up to a future with Savannah, or will his demons rip them apart forever?

The characters:
Gavin Cooke is a dark and tormented man and is all kinds of filthy.

“Are you ready for my brand of filth?” - Gavin

He's lost in a pit of emotional turmoil and is struggling to deal with it all. But spending time with Savannah brings him back to life and we get to see him grow from angry and frustrated, into a sexy and kind man. He still makes plenty of mistake and sometimes I felt like shaking some sense into him, but he won me over in the end.

At first glance Savannah is a quiet, unassuming girl. Gavin describes her as the 'anti-heroine' when her first meets her, because he sees her as a bit of a push over and not strong enough to make her own story. But Savannah is anything but weak. She's made it through difficult times in her past, but she's toughed it out and is making a life for herself. I loved seeing her prove Gavin wrong and show him how much of a strong heroine she could be.

The romance:
The romance between Savannah is sort of backwards and messy, but just seems to work perfectly for these characters. They are so completely opposite to each other and challenge one another in every aspect of their lives.

But let me just say… my brand of filth compliments Savannah’s sweet very well. It’s a match made in heaven, I’m thinking.” - Gavin

The love scenes between these two were seriously HOT! There is also some light bondage etc, but not a lot. I would still classify this as a romance not erotica.

The writing:
Sawyer's romance novels are fabulous! The is always the perfect balance of sexiness, warmth and humour. The witty banter was excellent and strengthened the believability of the quick paced romance. I loved their nicknames for each other, Filth and Sweet <3 They never changed who they are, but instead they fit together like to puzzle pieces.

Sugar On The Edge is collision of raw FILTH and SWEET romance! If you love opposites attract romances, don't miss this one!

Sexuality: medium-strong / several descriptive sex scenes, some minor bondage
